WHO WE ARE
Baron Basketball players are “Please” and “Thank You” people. We are a “Yes Sir” and “Yes Ma’am” manners matter organization that believes in no-excuses, personal responsibility leadership. We are kind everywhere but the court. We follow the “Platinum Rule” of treating others better than they treat us. We seek to get buckets, but more importantly, fill other people’s buckets.
Our motto is LOVE, LEAD, ELEVATE. Loving others is our first thought and action. We lead our lives with deliberate intention to elevate the lives our teammates, peers, coaches, teachers, family, friends, and strangers by loving larger, giving greater, and being kinder. Through the standards and values we learn in this basketball program and by the uncompromising character, mentally tough, competitive, coachable, mature attitude we exemplify, and from the pursuit of our absolute best, it is our goal to raise banners and build a brotherhood that will create a life-long connection that always brings us back home to Berger, where on the hardwood we learned how to be our personal best in anything we wish to achieve in life.
CONGRATULATIONS MIKE LIGHTBODY FOR HAVING THE SCHOOL RECORD FOR MOST THREE POINTERS IN A SINGLE GAME WITH NINE.
